The beginning of July presents the perfect opportunity to take time and evaluate how your year is going. There are some of my goals that are moving along great, but there are a few I have been putting off. In the mid-summer heat, I find myself wanting to pause to revisit my yearly goals. Robin S. Sharma’s book, The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari: A Fable About Fulfilling Your Dreams and Reaching Your Destiny, is a wonderful way to take stock of your life especially when you feel like you’ve been caught up in a whirlwind. This short book is easy to digest because of the simple story telling techniques used by Robin. I own this book and refer to it’s wisdom often. It goes right up there with books like The War of Art by Steven Pressfield and The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron.
